| A long time ago, from time of the beginning life evolved It was said that the Earth, our mother was the beginning of creation. Today we walk with and upon what is given to us, in beauty and harmony. We walk as it was told to us, in beauty and harmony, it's there to recognize and understand the way of life. Sometime ago I have made it my work to bring it out in my mind... to paint. What I paint is what was told to me, the stories from my grandfather and my grandmother, how creation story was told. What was told within the legends was life and how it was cared for, how it was used, and this is how I know and understand. So today, as I paint, I am careful, with my understanding of the legends... | When I sit, I visualize my surroundings, the Earth, the sky and all living things, which helps me create what I do today as an artist and painter. To create awareness by teaching and understanding about a great gift that is given to us, the Earth. |
